How to Apply for your Delaware Library Card

 

*All Delaware residents are eligible for a Delaware library card issued through their local public library. Registration includes completing a registration form and presenting a valid Delaware photo ID.  If you do not have a Delaware photo ID, please contact your local library for card registration requirements. Children under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian present for signature. 

 

*Delaware non-residents may apply for a non-resident card by submitting the registration form and a $20.00 fee to a member public library of the Delaware Library Catalog.

 

*Non-resident property owners in the State of Delaware are eligible to receive a Delaware library card.  Please contact your local public library for registration requirements.

* Academic and school Delaware Library Catalog member libraries require a valid student ID for library card registration.

 

*You may print out a copy of our registration form in advance to bring with you to your public library. To receive your new library card, please bring completed registration forms, your Delaware photo ID and/or alternative requirements to your local public library.

 

* Card registration forms are also available in any member library of the Delaware Library Catalog.  List of member libraries
